Kaisi Hai Yeh Rut (Dil Chahta Hai) came out 16yrs ago! Yet it has stayed with me as a song so well made. Great chord progression. The situation in the film, and the music video only adds to the song's beauty. Sung by much lesser known singer Srinivas, music by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. It was SEL's first movie as a music director, and this album is never going to get old!

"Dil Sambhal Ja Zaraa" is where the journey of Arijit Singh began in Bollywood. Mithoon was the music director of this melodious tune. Neither Arijit Singh nor the combination of him with Mithoon have never looked back. One of the latest songs I convered on this channel was 'Main Phir Bhi Tumko Chahoonga' from the film 'Half Girlfriend'. The song also features Mohd Irfan and Salim Bhat.

Great song to play on the acoustic guitar, it has ample opportunities to be experimental on the plucking. I give it a 4-star★ rating just because of the fingerstyle playing. Playing the chords doesn't do justice to the song.

Take a note of the rhythmic manner in which the chords are played. Not too many ringing notes. So use muting to stop the notes to ring out. Otherwise, the chords are really easy, hence two-star.
