Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi's duet, 'Ahista', from the yet to be released film 'Laila Majnu' is a fabulous song composed by Sitar maestro Niladri Kumar. It was released day before and it has become an earworm.
The guitar track in this song is subtle, got the spacey and ambient feel. Some parts are slightly reminiscent of U2 style, with a delay effect. Here, I am playing with a new guitar I acquired recently, the beautiful Yamaha 200S (also known as Silent guitar), but it can't do justice to the guitar effect in the song production.
With the little Zitar solo played at the end for two bars in his imitable style, Niladri Kumar ends the song beautifully.
