There's something about the song Safar, that you cannot get enough of. Brilliantly played with acoustic guitar backing. Even more brilliantly sung by Arijit Singh, its intoxicating. I think this is one of the finest combination of Pritam's music and Arijit Singh.
There is a version on YouTube, that shows how the director (Imtiaz Ali), actor (SRK), music director (Pritam) and lyricist (Irshad Kamil) are composing the song. Check: https://youtu.be/xORB1S9YvP8. I think that was a great way to promote the upcoming music of a film. I just wish they had shown Arijit in that video.
