Guitar Bollywood is an initiative by LivDemy to bring guitar and Bollywood music together. That’s in short. For the long version, read on!

 

Former member of a cover band (Classic rock, progressive rock, alternative rock), and an Indian (Hindi) rock band, Antariksh (Bollywood, Hindi rock, fusion, Sufi Rock), I’ve been part of San Francisco Bay Area (California, USA) music scene for almost 18 yrs, and past few years, part of Bangalore, India, and recently, Houston, Texas (USA). I’ve been playing guitar for over 25yrs. I have a minor in music, and years of performing experience.

 

After I started teaching guitar for last 4yrs in USA and India, I noticed the growing interest in playing guitar on a Bollywood song, at the same time, arrival of some truly world class guitarists in Bollywood music. So a need to create a guitar learning system based on Bollywood music was the need of the time. Thus, Guitar Bollywood was born in 2016.
